PURPLE KINGS SPORTS  PURPLE KINGS  CLOSE TO FINALIZING DEAL TO MOVE TEAM INTO HOUSTON IN 2026-27

Fulshear- (Feburary 22) The Texas Purple Kings have been in talks with the ABA rival the Houston Red Storm in moving the team and expanding the market to Houston, The move would not effect the commitment to the city of Fulshear as they will split games between the two cities 

Purple Kings Sports President and  Kings GM Michael Lewis stated  "  It will be like we we are playing like the old Kansas City -Omaha Kings A few games in Houston and a few in Katy .  Its just like our base will grow by playing in Houston" 

Fulshear High School will still be the home site , but Lewis is looking at Rice University or Houston Christian University  If the deal happens the team will still be called the Texas Purple Kings and will not leave the ABA
