PUPRLE KINGS WILL OPEN ABA SEASON VS TEXAS RED WOLVES SATURDAY IN SAN ANTONIO

Fulshear ( October 25)  - The upstart Texas  Purple Kings will open the 2025-2026 American Basketball Season versus the Texas  Red Wolves in San Antonio on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in San Antonio. The team will look to enhance their successful 2024-2025 ABA South Central Wild Card Cup and Final Four season, including the Semi-Finals, and achieve an 13-8 season record.  The team is predicted to hit the ABA national rankings at number 25

Purple Kings Head Coach Eric Keppard states on this season "  We are more focused and hungrier. The guys have played summer ball together in the summer league, and with great opportunities ahead for some of the core, and the work our GM and owner, Michael Lewis, is doing over the summer, our focus and standards are rising," he added

The team will play the Houston Red Storm in the first home game on VYPE Live and KRBH 97.1 at Fulshear High School on Saturday, January 10 2026, at 3 pm
