Fulshear -  December  22-   The Purple Kings and The Lady Reign Basketball Clubs have new head coaches . But they have worked together before , 

Michael Lewis , Purple Kings Owner has given the reigns of Head Coach to Eric Keppard who he was worked with through the Purple Reign ABA years from 2020-2023 and took the team to their lone playoff appearance in the ABA in 2021.  Keppard  who played overseas in Germany and coached as well Lewis stated on the his coaching a struggling Purple Kings squad "  Eric is a basketball mind  I have strong confidence that he will get the team to the playoffs" he added  The team will also add Keasia Williams-Robinson as the assistant coach for the Purple Kings

Lewis who became the new owner of the Women's Southwest Basketball League and the Southwest Basketball League .  Will become the  Head Coach of the Lady Reign Women's Basketball Club and will focus of the GM/Owner duties of both teams  he will assist Keppard on the Purple Kings side as his assistant coach
